Pixi Beauty Makeup and Skincare Review

Pixi Beauty is an affordable makeup and skincare brand that can be found online and at your local Target stores. A few months ago, they were kind enough to send me their entire Pixi Skintreats Hydrating Milky Collection (blogpost here) and Retinol Jasmine Collection (blogpost here), which I have been incorporating into my skincare routine. In celebration of the Midsummer Festival, they have sent me a little care package of their bestsellers. Today, I wanted to share with you my unboxing and review of these new goodies!Pixi Beauty Makeup and Skincare ReviewPixi Beauty Makeup and Skincare ReviewThis kit of travel friendly products came all bundled up in this handy dandy fanny pack.Pixi Beauty Makeup and Skincare Review I can honestly say I have never rocked a fanny pack, but it’s never too late to start, amiright? :)Pixi Beauty Makeup and Skincare ReviewPixi Beauty Makeup and Skincare ReviewThe pack of temporary glitter tattoos was a nice touch!Pixi Beauty Makeup and Skincare Review

1. Pixi Beauty Glitter-y Eye Quad in RoseBronze – Retail Price $14 – Buy here

Pixi Beauty Glitter-y Eye Quad in RoseBronzePixi Beauty Glitter-y Eye Quad in RoseBronzeEye twinkling quad of four pressed glitter-y shades (pixibeauty.com). Will I be reaching for this glitter quad every single day? No, I rely on mostly matte and shimmer eyeshadows for my everyday neutral looks. That said, these are one the best pressed glitters I have tried to date. They are ultra pigmented and have remarkable staying power on the lid, so glitter is not falling on your cheeks throughout the day. I am very impressed with this pressed formula.Pixi Beauty Glitter-y Eye Quad in RoseBronzePixi Beauty Glitter-y Eye Quad in RoseBronzePixi Beauty Glitter-y Eye Quad in RoseBronze

2. Pixi Beauty LipLift Max in Peony Bloom – Retail Price $14 – Buy here

Pixi Beauty LipLift Max in Peony BloomPeptide-infused lip plumper that nourishes as it enhances (pixibeauty.com). This lippie has a pleasant minty scent and tingles slightly upon application, very similar to that of the Buxom lipglosses if you’re familiar with those. This has medium opacity, where it is not entirely sheer, but also not ultra pigmented either. Instead, it just smooths out the lines on the lips, making it look extra plump and juicy. Peony Bloom enhances the natural color of my lips, while giving them a healthy flush and glossy finish.

3. Pixi Skintreats H2O Skindrink Pure Hydration Gel – Retail Price $22 – Buy here

Pixi Skintreats H2O Skindrink Pure Hydration GelA super-hydrating gel that rejuvenates, cools & refreshes instantly – it’s thirsty skin relief in a tube (pixibeauty.com). This gel moisturizer has a watery, almost runny consistency, but I am surprised by how hydrating it is.  Typically, I find water creams and moisturizer gels are better suited for normal to combo/ oily skintypes, but this provided adequate hydration for my dry skin.  I can see myself reaching for this on light to no makeup days, when I don’t need a heavy cream base under foundations.

4. Pixi Skintreats Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths – Retail Price $10 – Buy here

Pixi Skintreats Makeup Melting Cleansing ClothsUltra effective pre-moistened cleansing cloths that effortlessly dissolve makeup while balancing skin (pixibeauty.com). Admittedly, this is the only product I haven’t tried yet, as I always save makeup remover wipes for travel (which I hope we will be able to resume one day!). This pretty pack of 10 cleansing cloths are perfect for throwing in my carry-on bag, when I don’t want to deal with packing liquids on board, but still want to be able to remove makeup and grime before or after a long flight.

Have you tried any of these Pixi products?  What are your favorite Pixi makeup and skincare recommendations?

Mary Dee
