New ELF Makeup Haul and Reviews

Howdy, y’all!  Today, I’ll be sharing with you product reviews from my latest ELF Haul!  I ordered all these goodies when they had their sitewide 50% off sale.  I love that ELF offers high quality products at affordable prices.  Throw a generous discount on top of that and it’s the perfect time to restock on old favorites and try new products.New ELF Makeup Haul and Reviews

ELF Total Face Sponge – Retail Price $4 (Buy here)

ELF Total Face SpongeI’ve been cheating on my favorite Wet n Wild Makeup Sponge with this ELF Total Face Sponge 🙊 Once dampened, this doubles in size, but also becomes super soft and extra bouncy.  The sponge blends out my foundation and concealer flawlessly, while the tapered tip gets right under the eyes to set/bake my powders.  I’ve used this daily for over two months now and it is still going strong.  Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.

ELF 16hr Camo Concealer in Medium Sand and Tan Latte – Retail Price $5 (Buy here)

ELF 16hr Camo ConcealerI dedicated an entire blogpost review with swatches to this concealer, which you can find here.  In short, if you enjoy the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, this is an affordable dupe in terms of coverage, packaging, and longevity.  However, if you encountered dryness and emphasized texture like I have with the Shape Tape, you can expect that from the ELF Camo Concealer as well.  It all comes down to a matter of personal preference and skintype.  Overall Rating: 7/10 stars.ELF 16hr Camo Concealer Swatches

ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencil in Brunette – Retail Price $5 (Buy here)

ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencil in BrunetteThis is an affordable, drugstore alternative to the ABH Brow Wiz.  The ultra slim tip makes it easy to draw precise strokes, while the spoolie blends the product out perfectly, and the formula lasts all day.  My only gripe with this brow pencil is that the shade Brunette has very red/ warm undertones.  I would go back and try Cool Brown or Neutral Brown instead.  Overall Rating: 8/10 stars.

ELF Primer Infused Bronzer in Constantly Bronzed – Retail Price $6 (Buy here)

ELF Primer Infused Bronzer in Constantly BronzedELF Primer Infused Bronzer in Constantly BronzedThis bronzer has a beautiful formula that is very smooth, creamy, pigmented and blends flawlessly on the skin.  My issue with the product is that the shade Constantly Bronze is way too red/ orange toned to be a contour or bronzer.  However, I like the formula so much that I’ve repurposed it to be a lovely peach blush.  Overall Rating: 8/10 stars.ELF Primer Infused Bronzer Swatches in Constantly Bronzed

ELF Glow Highlighter in Moonlight – Retail Price $6 (Buy here)

ELF Glow Highlighter in MoonlightWhy is this minimalistic packaging so cute?! 😍 This highlighter is so buttery it almost has a creamy texture.  It gives a dewy, wet looking sheen to the cheekbones.  As a bonus, this smells just like the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzers and Highlighters with the yummy coconut scent.  Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.ELF Glow Highlighter in MoonlightELF Glow Highlighter Swatches in Moonlight

ELF Metallic Flare Highlighter in White Gold – Retail Price $6 (Buy here)

ELF Metallic Flare Highlighter in White GoldThe imprint is tres chic and once you press past the thin, but somewhat hard top layer, the highlighter below is gorgeous.  The formula is very pigmented and gives a metallic sheen to the skin.  This Metallic Flare Highlighter is extremely similar to the Glow Highlighter above, though this formula is a tad drier.  The main differences as far as I can tell is the packaging and lack of scent. Overall Rating: 9/10 stars.ELF Metallic Flare Highlighter in White GoldELF Metallic Flare Highlighter Swatches in White Gold

ELF Lip Plumping Gloss in Peach Bellini – Retail Price $5 (Buy here)

ELF Lip Plumping Gloss in Peach BelliniI’m a total wimp when it comes to painful lip plumpers and while this gloss tingles, the sensation isn’t unbearable and fades after a minute or two.  Peach Bellini is your typical concealer nude shade, which does wash me out when worn alone, but it layers beautifully over a darker lipstick.  It smooths out the lines on my lips, while giving them a juicy, glossy look.  Overall Rating: 7/10 stars.
