November Empties and Mini Reviews

Happy Thursdays, loves!  I hope you will enjoy this new monthly series from now on, where I go over the previous month’s emptied products, accompanied by a mini review, and whether or not I would repurchase.  Now, let’s dive into November’s Empties!

MAKEUPIMG_20161208_125246Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes: These did not impress me as I didn’t feel it remove all my makeup before I go in with my cream cleanser.  I will be sticking to my Costco wipes so I would not repurchase this.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser:  Because this Medium shade was too light for my skintone, I used this solely as my eye primer for which it worked very well.  If Maybelline released darker shades, I would repurchase as I’m sure it would make a fabulous undereye concealer.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream: This is my favorite BB cream of all time.  It gives great coverage while providing skin benefits, such as lightening my dark spots.  My only gripe with this product is the lack of deeper shade selections :/  Other than that, I love this product and would repurchase again and again.

E.L.F. Makeup Mist & Set: This is my favorite drugstore makeup setting spray, ever!  This mist extends the longevity of my makeup while smoothing out my skin when I’ve over-powdered.  I have gone through numerous bottles of these and will continue buying them until a better priced, higher quality spray is available.  For $3 though, I doubt this product can be beat 😉

SKINCAREIMG_20161208_125152Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist:  I received this mist in a Sephora Play! Box and while the product itself is not bad, the spray nozzle is intense.  Expect a smeared mess if you spray this over your makeup, as the nozzle feels like a fireman’s water hose.  This mist feels ultra moisturizing, but it is too dewy for daytime wear, so I will not be repurchasing this.

Aloette Time Repair Serum:  I received this in a Boxycharm and it made a nice addition to my skincare routine.  However, I didn’t feel a huge difference in my skin, so for the $48 pricetag, I would not repurchase.

Bath & Body Works Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Body Lotion:  My goodness, this lotion smells absolutely divine, like marshmallow-vanilla deliciousness.  It was a joy to put this on every time and I would definitely buy this in a full size.

NSpa Coconut Rich Body Butter:  I received this in a Walmart Beauty Box and used it all up during my travels.  It smells good and provided adequate moisture, but did not stand out from other body lotions, so I will not be repurchasing.

HAIRCAREIMG_20161208_125059OGX Argan Oil of Morocco:  After I’ve shampooed and conditioned, I add a drop of this to the ends of my hair to prevent frizz and add shine.  I liked it, but would not repurchase as I need to make my way through my stash of hair oils.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: This is my holy grail dry shampoo.  It soaks up excess oil in between shampoos, refreshes the hair, and doesn’t leave a gray cast on dark hair if you rub it in really well.  I like this fresh scent and would repurchase.

L’Oreal EverPure Repair & Defend Shampoo and Conditioner:  I received these in an Influenster VoxBox and thoroughly enjoyed them.  I love the EverPure line because it is affordable, smells minty fresh, and preserves my haircolor longer, as it is sulfate free.  I would repurchase this.

Have you tried any of these products?  What are your November Empties?

Mary Dee
