New Wet n Wild Haul and Reviews

Happy Wet n Wild Wednesday, dolls!  I figured today would be an appropriate day to review all these goodies from my recent Wet n Wild Haul 🙂 Can you believe it’s been more than a year since my last Wet n Wild Haul?!  You can find that blogpost here.  Since then, they’ve released so many fun, new products I couldn’t wait to get my hands on.New Wet n Wild Haul and Reviews

Wet n Wild Makeup Sponge – Retail Price $3.99  – Buy here

Wet n Wild Makeup Sponge How cute is this pink makeup sponge?  I’ve reached for this every single day for over a month now, and it’s still going strong.  Once dampened, it becomes super soft and extra bouncy.  The sponge blends out my foundation and concealer flawlessly, while the tapered tip gets right under the eyes to set/bake my powders.  This is just as good, if not even better than the Beauty Blender, and at a fraction of the cost.  Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.Wet n Wild Makeup Sponge

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Primer Water in Coconut, Rose, and Cucumber – Retail Price $4.99  – Buy here

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Primer Water in Coconut, Cucumber, and RoseThese scented primer waters add an extra dose of moisture to bare skin, but I would not rely on them as a foundation primer.  I don’t think primer waters, in general, are adequate bases on their own, as they don’t fill in pores to create a smooth canvas before foundation application.  That said, I prefer to use them as a pick-me-up throughout the day, because they do all smell amazing and feel refreshing on the skin.  I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite between Rose and Coconut!  Overall Rating: 7/10 stars.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Luminous Primer Stick in Dew Me A Favor – Retail Price $4.99  – Buy here

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Luminous Primer Stick in Dew Me A FavorWhile this primer stick gives a luminous glow to the skin, it has a cream texture that dries down to a powdery finish.  The silicone-y formula fills in large pores and makes for a mattifying base.  I like pairing it strictly with my dewy foundations, as I’ve found the combo of this and a matte foundation is too drying for my skintype.  Overall Rating: 7/10 stars.Wet n Wild Photo Focus Luminous Primer Stick in Dew Me A Favor

Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette – Retail Price $3.99  – Buy here

Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Micro Brow Pencil in BrunetteLadies and gentleman, allow me to introduce you to my new favorite eyebrow pencil from the drugstore.  This is an amazing dupe to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, at a total steal.  The ultra fine tip makes it a breeze to draw precise brush strokes, while the spoolie on the other end blends the product into brow hairs naturally.  The formula is pigmented, and not too dry that it drags on the skin, but also not too creamy that it smudges throughout the day.  LOVE this. Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.20181223_131823-01Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Micro Brow Pencil in BrunetteWet n Wild Ultimate Brow Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette

Wet n Wild Color Icon Multi Stick in Chocolate Cheat Day – Retail Price $2.99 – Buy here

Wet n Wild Color Icon Multi Stick in Chocolate Cheat DayAccording to the Wet n Wild website, these Multi Sticks can be used on the eyes, cheeks, and lips.  I can see that as the formula of these are incredibly creamy and blend out beautifully.  For myself personally, I have reservations about putting a product from my lips onto my cheekbones as it just sounds like a risk for breakouts.  I prefer to use this warm chocolate shade as either an eyeshadow base or a quick easy lip color.  Overall Rating: 8/10 stars.Wet n Wild Color Icon Multi Stick in Chocolate Cheat Day

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in My Glamour Squad – Retail Sale Price $4.99 – Buy here

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in My Glamour SquadI picked up this My Glamour Squad Eyeshadow Palette because I read somewhere it was a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam.  O my goodness, I am blown away by the creamy formula and pigmentation of these shadows!  They blend like a dream and these warm shades are totally my jam.  You can create natural everyday looks or blend in the matte black shade to darken smokey eyes.  At only $5, this rivals some of my high end palettes.  I’m so impressed, I already want to go back for the other palettes.  Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in My Glamour SquadWet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in My Glamour Squad

Wet n Wild Mega Glo Body Luminizer in Invested in Bronzer – Retail Sale Price $10.99  – Buy here

Wet n Wild Mega Glo Body Luminizer in Invested in BronzerWinter in Arizona is essentially Fall in California, meaning some days you’re all bundled up in a hoodie, and other days, you’re surprised with shorts baring your pale legs 😂  Hence why this Body Luminizer looked so promising to me.  While this bronzed shade doesn’t add a darker tint (at least not with my skin tone, anyhow), it adds a luminous glow to the skin, which is actually a lot more subtle than I expected.  I was expecting a full-on body bling highlight, but the effect is more akin to a dewy sheen, much as you would get from a body oil.  The fancy packaging and concept though, earns it some bonus points, despite the higher price tag.  Overall Rating: 7/10 stars.Wet n Wild Mega Glo Body Luminizer in Invested in BronzerHave you tried any of these Wet n Wild products?  What are your favorite Wet n Wild products and recommendations?

I’ve been super impressed with that brow pencil as well 😀 The first time I tried it also reminded me of my brown pencils from ABH! I generally just love WnW products and I love seeing the new products they’re coming out with

Yep just bought the sponge and it is great! If you can get your hands on it try the new water drop primer (found mine at walgreens in coconut) I love it so far…melts on contact into a very hydrating water like primer. 😊

What are your thoughts? I would love to hear from you :)
