Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Hiii, dolls!  Today, I am bringing you my review of the Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette!  As you probably know by now, I am obsessed with Colourpop’s Pressed Eyeshadow Palettes and have already reviewed pretty much every single one I can get my hands on.  I’ll leave links at the end of this blogpost if you’re interested in checking those out 😉 Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesWhat it is: Double Entendre is the perfect palette for everyone! Your new go-to, your ride or die, your partner in crime – this palette holds the ultimate everyday, nude neutrals. With 12 shades, ranging from cool to warm, matte to metallic, you and this palette will be inseparable (colourpop.com).Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesPrice: $16, 12 x 1.05g (colourpop.com)Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesColourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesPackaging:  The packaging is sleek, compact, sturdy, and travel friendly with a strong magnetic closure.  I packed this on my three week trip and never had issues with it opening or being damaged in my luggage.  The names of the shades are directly on the back of the palette and there is no mirror.  I like the chrome bronze look, but yooo, this packaging is literally identical to the I Think I Love You Palette (blogpost here) 😒 Come on, Coloupop, you can do better than that.Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesColourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesFormula: There are 8 matte shades and 4 metallic shades so you can easily create a complete eye look.  Both matte and shimmer shades are so pigmented and feel buttery smooth to the touch.  The shimmers, in particular, are incredibly creamy and highly reflective.  The matte shades blend like a dream, but there is a good amount of kickup and fallout, so I recommend doing your eye makeup first.  Hot Bod, the matte chocolate brown in the first row, tends to have the most fallout because of the gold flecks throughout.Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesColor:  This palette is a nudes lover’s dream.  It has a gorgeous assortment of warm champagnes and browns that can take you from neutral daytime to smokey nighttime looks.  Extra Curricular, the matte burnt orange, and Hard, the matte deep terracotta in the second row, are yummy transition shades that I dip into every time I use this palette.  Draft, the metallic rich rose gold in the second row, is so unbelievable creamy and reflective it almost makes me cry  😂 Seriously, it is what I expect every single metallic eyeshadow to look and feel like.  The entire middle row is totally my jam.Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Review and SwatchesSwatches with Natural Light: Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and ReviewSwatches with Camera Flash: Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and ReviewColourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and ReviewOverall Rating:  I am obsessed with this Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette so I award it a rating of 10/10 stars.  The quality of this palette, in terms of pigmentation, blendability, and shade selection is divine.  If you are sick and tired of yet another warm toned palette, well, I don’t blame you 😉 But I could wear these kindof shades every single day 😍 If you are still onboard the warm tones train, I highly recommend adding this beauty to your collection.  You will not be disappointed!  This has tied with the Yes, Please! Palette as my favorite palettes from Colourpop thus far.
