Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Metallic Eyeshadow Review and Swatches
During the winter months, I like experimenting with more dramatic eye looks, which includes incorporating more glittery eyeshadows into my makeup routine. That’s when these new Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Metallic Eyeshadows caught my eye. I adore the Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks (review here) so I’m excited to see Wet n Wild expand their line into Liquid Eyeshadows.
What it is: The MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Metallic Eyeshadow has a lightweight formula that provides vibrant, long lasting color that stays put on your eyelids. It’s silky, pigmented formula applies evenly and smoothly for a super high-shine metallic finish. The metallic pearl pigments provide intense multi-dimensional shine for a longwearing formula with strong water-resistance (wetnwildbeauty.com).

Color: There are currently two shades offered on the Wet n Wild website: You Copper Cat and Ruby Heist. The names describe themselves perfectly. I love warm eyeshadows, so these copper and burgundy shades are totally my jam.
Swatches:
Formula: I’m really impressed with the pigmentation and how smooth and creamy these liquid eyeshadows apply on the lids. They are not as glittery as the Stila Glitter & Glow Eyeshadows or Flower Beauty Warrior Shadows, but give a beautiful metallic finish. When it comes to creating eye looks, I find the simpler, the better. I like either adding it as a pop of color in the center of the lid or as a light wash all over the lids. Because of how quickly these dry down, I recommend working fast as they are not the most blendable. If you apply too many layers, you will get the dreaded pilling and see it flaking off throughout the day. Also, eyeliner tends to drag on top of a thick layer of liquid eyeshadow.
Overall Rating: Based on my experience, I would rate the Wet n Wild Megalast Metallic Liquid Eyeshadows as 8/10 stars. There is a learning curve when working with these eyeshadows. You can achieve a quick, easy eye look for everyday, but if you try to get too elaborate, it can get difficult to work with. Still, I recommend giving these a try if you have been eyeing them, as they are great quality, affordable, drugstore liquid eyeshadows.
