L’Oreal Infallible 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation and Infallible Full Wear Concealer Review

In terms of packaging, I quite like the chic glass bottle with the handy dandy pump. As you can see from the swatch, the foundation has a very runny, liquid consistency. The coverage is medium, buildable to full with a very natural satin finish. What I really enjoy about this foundation is how lightweight and breathable it feels on the skin. It is not at all heavy or cakey. As for its longevity claims, let’s be honest, I’m not going to ever wear a foundation for 24 hours. That just sounds like a recipe for breakouts. This foundation is longlasting and still looks good by the end of the night, with the exception of it wearing off around my nose and chin area, which is normal for any foundation I’ve tried. 
There are currently 30 shades offered, which is generous particularly for the drugstore. I picked up the shade Golden Sun, which is a medium dark shade with golden/ olive undertones. I was very fortunate that it matched my skintone closely and didn’t oxidize throughout the day. Buy here.
I like applying this foundation best with a beauty sponge (my current favorite is the Wet n Wild Makeup Sponge) for the most natural finish. One pump is plenty of product, as I don’t mind my natural skin peeking through. You can easily apply another layer for additional coverage if so desired. This foundation, to me, is the perfect middle ground between the dryness of the Infallible Pro Matte and dewiness of Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. It is the Goldilocks of the Infallible line and my new favorite L’Oreal Foundation. Overall rating: 10/10 stars. Buy here.

I’m fairly certain L’Oreal was going after the cult favorite Tarte Shape Tape Concealer when they created this design. This Infallible Full Wear Concealer is eerily similar down to the packaging, amount of product, and of course, the large doe foot applicator.
There are currently 25 shades offered, which is amazing for a concealer. I picked up the shade Latte, which I would describe as a medium with neutral undertones. I took a leap of faith and I’m stoked to report it matches me perfectly, not too light or pink-toned. Buy here.
The moment of truth: Do I think this is a more affordable dupe of the Tarte Shape Tape? No… because this kicks Shape Tape’s butt out of the water! This L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer provides buildable full coverage, without the drying, matte finish of Shape Tape. It blends out flawlessly and doesn’t emphasize my texture or those little bumps under the eyes. A little goes a long way, so this tube will last me quite some time. The longlasting formula brightens my undereyes while managing to cover up my birthmark, which always earns a concealer the stamp of approval. I have been loyal to the Colourpop No Filter Concealers for years, but this is giving it some major competition. Overall rating: 10/10 stars. Buy here.XO,
