Sulwhasoo is a popular Korean brand that has a uniquely holistic approach to beauty and skincare. They focus on finding and addressing the cause of skin problems, as well as treating visible symptoms. Their beautiful products are infused with natural ingredients, including traditional Korean herbal medicine. Sulwhasoo was kind enough to send me their Snowise Brightening Sheet Mask, so I thought I’d share a quick review with you today!

An intensive brightening mask fermented with white ginseng delivers nutrients for a bright and clear complexion (octoly.com).The main active ingredient in this bio-cellulose sheet mask is the fermented white ginseng extract, which is meant to lock in moisture, brighten the skin, and bring out its luminosity. I double cleansed, toned, then applied this on my skin for about 30 minutes while I caught a Netflix show. The jelly-like mask adhered comfortably, staying on my face like a second skin, while the milky serum absorbed quickly. There is a generous amount of serum left in the packet, which I saved to use the following night. None of that precious nectar ever goes to waste on my watch 😉 I applied this sheet mask before bedtime and the next morning, I woke up with noticeably more plump and hydrated skin. I didn’t really expect dramatic brightening results overnight, but this is easily the most luxurious sheet mask I’ve ever tried.
