I’m From Rice Toner Korean Skincare Review

Wishtrend was kind enough to send me one of their bestselling products, the I’m From Rice Toner, so I thought I’d share with you a quick review.

This toner is made with 77.78% Rice Extract effective in whitening and elasticity care. The product forms a protective barrier over the skin to prevent water loss, eliminate dead skin cells and provide luster and moisturization to rebalance dry and tired skin (wishtrend.com).As a reference, my skin type is very dry, with hyperpigmentation leftover from acne scars.  Improving texture and tone while maintaining hydration has always been my biggest skin concerns.  Naturally, a moisturizing brightening toner sounds right up my alley.I’m From is a Korean Skincare brand that promises three things: ingredient transparency, honest materials, and no harmful additives.  This is a strong and solid philosophy that resonates with me. The main active ingredient in this toner is the Rice Extract that originates from the Yeoju region in Korea. I think it is so neat that it is clearly displayed on the packaging so you know the exact origins of the ingredients.First off, how chic is this glass bottle? It is so aesthetically pleasing and looks beautiful displayed on any vanity. Second, for anyone who dislikes fragrances in their skincare, this has no scent, as far as I can detect. This milky toner consists of layers of liquids and emulsions, so it requires shaking well before each use.During my daytime skincare routine, I dispense a couple drops in my hands and pat directly onto my skin after cleansing.  As a part of my nighttime routine, I apply a generous amount to a cotton pad and sweep all over my face and neck. I am impressed with the amount of impurities this removes, left over even after my double cleansing method.My skin instantly feels cleaner, without stripping it of moisture, and noticeably softer. This feels so calming and luxurious on the skin, I actually look forward to the toner process each time. Because of its lightweight texture and fast absorption, I can see this benefiting both dry and normal/ combination skintypes.  This is a fabulous and gentle toner I would be happy to repurchase again.
