I’m From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare Review

I’m From is a Korean Skincare brand that promises three things: ingredient transparency, honest materials, and no harmful additives.  This is a strong and solid philosophy that resonates with me. Wishtrend was kind enough to send me one of their bestselling products, the I’m From Fig Boosting Essence, so today I wanted to share with you a review based on my personal experience.I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare Review

I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewThis essence contains 62.7% Fig Extract which penetrates deep into the skin for a moisturizing finish. It boosts the skin to help absorb for the next skincare step. With the NMF Peptide and Amino Acid, it forms a moisture barrier for a full hydration and also offers anti-aging antioxidant effects with Fig Extract and Polyphenol (wishtrend.com).I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewAs a reference, my skin type is very dry, with hyperpigmentation leftover from acne scars. Improving texture and tone while maintaining hydration has always been my biggest skin concerns. I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewThe main active ingredient in this toner is the Fig Extract that originates from the Yeongam region in Korea. I think it is so neat that it is clearly displayed on the packaging so you know the exact origins of the ingredients.I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewHow stunning is this frosted boysenberry glass bottle? I am obsessed with this chic packaging. It honestly makes me happy everytime I see it on my vanity. I personally enjoy the sensory experience of fragranced products and would have swooned if this had a yummy fig scent. However, for anyone who dislikes fragrances in their skincare, you’ll be happy to know this has no scent, as far as I can detect. I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewThis essence’s consistency is somewhat milkier than the watery By Wishrend Quad Boosting Essence (review here), but nowhere nearly as viscous as the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence (here). As a part of my day and nighttime skincare routine, I dispense 3 to 4 drops in the palm of my hands and pat it gently onto my face and neck. The essence spreads easily and absorbs quickly, adding an instant layer of moisture, between my toner and serum. I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewSo far, I don’t believe this essence offers any additional benefits in terms of brightening hyperpigmentation or treating acne. However, this is easily one of the most hydrating essences I have tried to date. This makes my skin look instantly more bouncy and plump, borderline dewy.  On my very lazy days, I have even used this essence in lieu of my moisturizer and found it provided adequate hydration, which is saying a lot. Because of its lightweight texture and fast absorption, I can see this benefiting both dry and normal/ combination skintypes.I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewIf you are interested in picking up any of these products, you can use the code MARY15 all throughout the month of August for 15% your entire order at Wishtrend!I'm From Fig Boosting Essence Korean Skincare ReviewYou can also find my review of the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop here, By Wishtrend Quad Active Boosting Essence here, and I’m From Rice Toner here.
