Play! by Sephora December 2019 Unboxing and Review

Ciao, bella! Today, I’ll be sharing with you the contents of December’s Play by Sephora! You can find my review of September’s box here. Play! is Sephora’s subscription service that provides 5 beauty samples plus 1 fragrance sample for $10/month (plus local taxes).

December’s theme was Award Winning Beauty and came with 6 products.As usual, it includes an insert with product descriptions/ directions.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Golden Pink

This shimmering, pinky peach eyeshadow stick is the cream of the crop. it easily glides onto lids and stays in place for up to eight hours (insert).

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator

Shine up the trophy — we’ve got a winner. When mixed with warm water, this rice based powder gently exfoliates skin, leaving it smoother and brighter (insert).

Smashbox Super Fan Mascara in Black

Your lashes’ number one fan — this lenghtening mascara delivers lift and volume that lasts for up to 12 hours (insert).

Wander Beauty Lip Retreat Oil in Skinny Dip

Roll our the red carpet for this standout oil in a pretty pink shade that nurtures lips and delivers a glossy finish (insert).

Overall Rating: I was somewhat satisfied with December’s Sephora Play! Bag so I’m giving it a rating of 7/10 stars. I’ve decided, I’m going to cancel my subscription once again. Lately, I have not been wowed by the product selection, and I’ve been receiving repeats of previous boxes instead of new, exciting products. Also, Sephora regularly offers surplus Play! boxes for $10, without a subscription! I just don’t see the point of keeping the subscription, when I can just wait for all the boxes to become available for purchase, and then choose for myself which box I will get the most mileage out of.
