L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks Review and Swatches

Hello, everyone! Today, I’m bringing you a review of the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks! The striking packaging caught my eye so I picked up two shades in my last Ulta Haul to give the lipstick a whirl.What it is: Turn on the color. Switch on the shine. (ulta.com)Price: $9.99, 0.1 oz (ulta.com)Packaging: How unique is this packaging? Even though the clear case is plastic, the geometric crystal shape is still super chic. I dig it 👌 I like that you can easily identify the shade in the tube and that the cap stays securely closed in my makeup bag.Formula: These lipsticks glide on the lips like butttaah 😍 There is a faint fruity scent, but it goes away quickly and there is no discernible taste. The formula feels as creamy and lightweight as a lip balm, but with a glossy finish. The pigmentation is on the sheer side, but buildable and not at all streaky. These are neither transfer-proof or long-lasting for that matter, but they feel so comfortable on that I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day. Color: There are currently 16 shades offered on the L’Oreal and Ulta website, ranging from hot pinks to coral reds and bold violets. The bright shades look absolutely beautiful, but knowing my basic b***h self, I picked up the two nude shades 😂 I generally avoid bold color lipglosses as they tend to slip and slide around my lips. I figured the nude shades in this glossy formula would be more low maintenance and forgiving. Plus, can you ever really have enough nude lipsticks? I think not! Glossy Fawn is a warm peachy nude, while Dazzling Doe is a cool-toned greige. Glossy Fawn is my personal favorite of the two as it is more flattering with my skintone, paired with a smokey eye or worn alone. Dazzling Doe can wash me out if I don’t apply a darker lipliner first.Swatches:Overall Rating: I thoroughly enjoyed these L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks so I’m awarding them 10/10 stars. I love the cute packaging, creamy moisturizing formula, and high shine finish.
