Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer Review

I was so stoked when Catrice recently released more shades of their foundations and concealers so I could FINALLY try their formulas! For the longest time, all their shades were too light for me, so I’m glad they expanded their range to include deeper skintones. Today, I will be reviewing the Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealers! You can read my Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation review here.

What it is: Dark circles, imperfections and redness are now a thing of the past – the Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer offers optimal coverage without drying out the skin. This liquid concealer is highly-pigmented, waterproof and lasts for hours (amazon.com).

Packaging: The slim tube packaging is simple, but sleek and comes with a doe foot applicator to quickly apply product on the skin. 20190427_152216-01

Formula: This creamy concealer has a thin consistency, so it feels very lightweight on the skin, while still providing full coverage. Although it dries down to a matte finish, it doesn’t emphasize dry patches, texture or fine lines. Like the foundation, it dries down rather quickly, so you have to blend it into the skin immediately. Once it fully sets, it has excellent staying power. This concealer claims to last 12 hours, which I actually believe. I’ve worn this between 6-8 hours and my undereyes still looked fresh by the end of the night. Shade Range: There are currently 17 shades available, a huge expansion from their previous offering, which was abysmal 🙊 The Catrice website has a shade finder tool that lists the shade undertones, but I wished they also provided shade descriptions. Swatches: I picked up the shades Hazelnut Beige and Desert Beige, which are both described as having warm undertones. Desert Beige is a smidge too dark to brighten up my undereye area, but Hazelnut Beige is just right. Buy here. Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer Review

Application: I apply a thin layer of this concealer directly on the undereyes with the doe foot applicator, then quickly press it into the skin with the Real Techniques Contour Brush, followed by a damp ELF Total Face Sponge to blend out any lines or excess product. Overall Rating: Based on my experience, I’m rating the Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealers as 10/10 stars. I’ve heard great things about this concealer prior, but I am still really impressed with its performance. The formula is creamy and lightweight, while providing longlasting coverage. This concealer has quickly become a favorite and I’m happy to report it lives up to the hype. Buy here.
