Rovectin Cica Care Sleeping Pack Korean Skincare Review

Rovectin is a Korean skincare brand that was originally developed for those with highly sensitive and vulnerable skin to help restore and rebuild the strength of the skin’s natural barrier. They specialize in “hypoallergenic products that safely and gently restore your skin deep down to its natural healthy state—helping you look and feel better inside and out”. Wishtrend was kind enough to send me their brand new Rovectin Cica Care Sleeping Pack, so today I wanted to share with you my review!

This overnight sleeping mask keeps your skin hydrated throughout your time asleep, so you can wake up with glowing and silky skin. This sleeping mask also contains protease enzymes, ceramide, and panthenol, which help reinforce the damaged skin barrier and will make your skin feel smoother, softer than ever (wishtrend.com).If this packaging looks somewhat familiar, that is because I recently reviewed the Rovectin Cica Care line which includes their Toner, Balm, and Sheet Masks which you can read all about here. This Sleeping Pack is the newest addition to the Cica line.I quite enjoy the simplicity of the squeeze tube packaging, which is highly practical and travel friendly. This balm has a very light, almost undetectable fresh scent from the natural ingredients, as no fragrances were added. It has a milky gel consistency that melts into the skin, creating a velvety barrier. The texture is incredibly pleasing and leaves my skin feeling instantly soothed and velvety smooth.For those with acne-prone skin, this Sleeping Pack contains a high level of Centella Asiatica which is a safe and effective treatment for active pimples and post-acne scars. I had some maskne plus hormonal breakouts (fun!), and this helped calm the inflamed area to encourage the healing process.This moisturizer can be used morning and night, but I prefer to use this as the last step of my nighttime skincare routine to seal in all my essences and serums. My skin is noticeably more hydrated, and when combined with the other products in my routine, also brighter in the morning. I love that I can see immediate improvements overnight!This Sleeping Pack, to me, is an upgrade to their Cica Balm, providing the extra hydration my dry skin craves, especially in the upcoming colder months. Since receiving this product, I have been using it every single night as the last step of my skincare routine. I honestly have no complaints and highly recommend giving it a try!
