ELF Blush Palette Review

Happy Saturday, everyone!  I hope you’re all having a great weekend so far!  I’m headed to the beach with the fam bam, but wanted to get this blogpost up before I go 😉  As promised, this is a quick review on the ELF Cosmetics Dark Blush Palette from my recent ELF Haul.  You can find that blogpost here.ELF Blush PaletteWhat it is:  Enjoy 4 complementing shades that allow you to mix and match to create different looks. Create a beautifully pigmented look that lasts all day (elfcosmetics.com).

Price: $6.00 (elfcosmetics.com)

Packaging:  The matte black packaging is very sleek, sturdy, and travel friendly.  I definitely give them props for the big mirror and the ability to pop out the individual colors to mix and match with the other ELF Blush, Bronzer, and Highlighter Palettes.  So convenient!ELF Blush PaletteFormula:  The texture of these blushes are so smooth, creamy, and blendable.  They’re very pigmented so I recommend using a light hand and layering until you get the desired effect.  It’s very easy to go overboard and look splotchy 😉  Three of the four shades have a semi-matte/satin finish.  The bottom left shade appears to have chunky gold glitter in the pan, but it is barely detectable on the skin.  It gives more of a light sheen than glittery finish.

Swatches:  The shade selection is so beautiful and flattering.  They include a peach, pink, pinky-orange, and terracotta shade.  I love the warm tones ?  These are super pigmented so they will definitely make an impact on medium to deeper skintones.  I do believe those who are more fair could find use for these if they use a very light hand.  The warm nude peach shade on the top left is my personal favorite of the bunch.

Overall Rating:  I was very impressed with the quality and performance of this ELF Dark Blush Palette so I award it 9/10 stars.  I like the smooth formula, strong pigmentation, and ultra sleek packaging.  $6, or in this case, $3 (during their 50% off website sale), for 4 blushes?!  You can’t go wrong with that affordable price point.  The shade selection is gorgeous and I would love to pick up the Light Blush Palette as well.  I give these babies two thumbs up and happily recommend adding these to your blush collection!

Have you tried these E.L.F. Blush Palettes?  What are your thoughts on the formula? ?
