My Travel Makeup Organizer Case under $20

In October, my husband and I will be embarking on a 3 week trip to visit family back in California and ultimately Thailand for my birthday! Needless to say, I’m super excited! 😃 To prepare for the long trip, I went on the hunt for a new travel case to hold all the makeup I will be packing with me. I figured it was time to upgrade my ancient, mismatched makeup bags from Marshalls (though they all served me well!). I shopped the popular travel bags on Sephora and Ulta’s site, but ultimately came to Amazon where I found this awesome case for only $16.49!

There are many similiar cases from different brands in the same price range, but I ultimately chose this particular one because it got great reviews and for the sleek design. I love the gold zipper detailing! Tres chic. 👌I have Amazon Prime so it arrived in 2 days, nicely packaged and protected in a sealed plastic pouch. I am so impressed with its high quality! According to the vendor, this case is made of premium nylon fabric which makes it waterproof. I’ve yet to test that theory (and hope never to), but the material feels very well made and durable, which comes in handy during the hustle of travel. There is a hard shell around the perimeter of the case that provides extra protection, should you decide to place it in your luggage. So far, I’ve had no issues with the zippers. I love the adjustable padded dividers which you can easily customize to fit all your products. And boy, can this thing fit a lot of products.The top pouch includes a plastic cover to store and protect all your makeup brushes. Behind that is another zippered compartment where you can fit a small palette or beauty tools like tweezers and brow scissors.In the customizable compartments, I can fit all my foundations, concealers, powders, highlighters, and lippies.This is the perfect size for me personally to prevent me from overpacking any further. However, I saw many larger bags with the same design that I’m considering getting to carry my toiletries. 😉
